We are very proud of our sponsored leadership programs in the New Jersey District and appreciate the time and talent these young men and women devote to serving children and their communities.
Look at the great event Pascack Valley Kiwanis has planned!Dear Community Member,
The newly formed Kiwanis Club of the Pascack Valley is excited to launch its signature fundraising event – SPARK a S.T.E.A.M. Fair for Kids on June 15, 2024 from 12-4 at the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Ave. in Westwood. Our goal is to simultaneously SPARK imagination by showcasing fun demonstrations and activities in the science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics fields while raising funds that will help us establish youth based civic service programs in local middle and high schools. With that in mind we are currently seeking exhibitors and sponsors for SPARK.
To be a sponsor is easy! Select your sponsorship level at $200, $100 or $50 and fill out our paper or online form. Sponsorship benefits are outlined at each level.
To bring an exhibit you just need to tell us what you’d like to showcase - science theory or experiment, electronics, robotics, games, music, arts. Demos and hands-on-activities are both great! We encourage handouts, playful activities, giveaways and anything that will give kids the SPARK to be creative. Want to sponsor but need an idea? Let us know! We can help you find an activity. See our attached form or fill out our online form.
While the Kiwanis Club of the Pascack Valley is new, Kiwanis International is not! Formed in 1915, Kiwanis is a non-profit service organization formed to make lasting differences for youth by supporting community service groups such as KEY Clubs and Builders Clubs. To learn more about our club, visit our Facebook page @PascackValleyNJKiwanis.
We are eager to form partnerships with community businesses such as yours and hope that you will join us in bringing civic service programs to our local schools. If you have any questions after reading about our plans for SPARK a S.T.E.A.M. Fair for Kids, please email [email protected] or call/text 917-345-2301. ... See MoreSee Less
The Animal Welfare Association (AWA) is hosting their annual Paws & Feet Fundraising event on Saturday, May 4th. The event is held in the parking lot of the Voorhees Town Center Mall.
Volunteers are needed on Friday night, May 3rd from 5-9pm, and from 6:30 am - 4pm on Saturday.
While there are time slots available across those times, there is a particular need for help on Friday evening for setup, and Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm for breakdown and loading of the truck.
If you can share this with your club to see if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. My wife is the organizer of the event and a NJ Circle K alumnus.
