Hi all! It's the holiday season and if you are anything like me, you might do a large amount of your shopping on Amazon. Did you know, that you could be making a donation to the NJ Kiwanis District Foundation with every purchase you make?
AmazonSmile is a simple way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of your eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. To shop at AmazonSmile, simply go to smile.amazon.com on your web browser or activate AmazonSmile on your Amazon Shopping app on your iOS or Android phone (found under settings on your app).
Set your charity as Foundation of the New Jersey District of Kiwanis International. So far, I have personally donated $64.53, and together, members who already partake in this program have donated $343.69.
So, if you are interested in helping the NJ District Foundation through this venue, please do so. Any questions, do not hesitate to post below.
The Kiwanis Club of Edison will have it's only meeting for December next Thursday the 8th @7pm @The Coffee House on Amboy Ave in Edison.
Our Speaker will be Elizabeth Bennett from the YMCA of MEWSA. She is the Director of Financial Development and will talk with us about how we can partner with them to volunteer, fundraise and all the great projects they have.
