You’ll oversee club operations, lead impactful service projects, and motivate members to stay engaged and involved. You are the face of the club—setting the tone, building momentum, and inspiring action.
In this leadership role, you’ll help grow your club’s membership, strengthen community partnerships, and support the development of future leaders. Your work ensures that your club remains a vital force for good in your community.
Club presidents are required to complete Club Leadership Education to:
•Understand the basics of running a successful Kiwanis club •Lead with confidence and vision •Strengthen your communication and leadership skills •Learn about Kiwanis programs, procedures, and resources
Club presidents have two options to complete this training:
Classroom Education: We will hold two in-person training sessions, one in South Jersey and one in North Jersey.
South Jersey Training Session:•Location: Stockton University, 101 Vera King Farris Dr, Galloway, NJ 08205 •Date: Saturday, July 26 •Time: Begins at 9:00 a.m. •Details: A continental breakfast will be served
North Jersey Training:•Location: Frank’s Office, 90 East Halsey Road, Third Floor, Parsippany (If the door is locked, use code #304 on the front door pad) •Date: Saturday, August 16 •Time: Begins at 9:00 a.m. •Details: A continental breakfast will be served
As president, you also serve on your club’s board of directors. To prepare for this role, complete the Club Leadership Education for Board Members, which is also available online. Encourage your fellow board members to complete the training so your entire leadership team is aligned and informed.
